So I am looking to start a light game and thought I would check to see if anyone was interested. To save time the following contains what recruitment info that is important as well. I am hoping to convince 3 people to play

Onions & Wagons

Using the Dungeons & Beers d2 system.

The Setting

Onions are big money. Onions grown in the fields around Shallot are renowned through out the world and they must get to ships in Port Vadalia. The problem is to get from Shallot to Port Vidalia the caravans must pass through the labrynithine and dangerous Black Crags. Goblins and other nasties lay in wait to try and steal tasty onions. The onions must be delivered! The Onion Guild pays good gold to insure the arrival of the caravans with their famous product. Everyone starts out guarding caravans..get good at your job and get more lucretive assignments like clearing out raider hideouts in potentially tresure rich ruins.

The Premise..

You all want some of that onion gold so you join the Onion Guild and you get assigned escort duty. No big deal everyone starts at the bottom.. Mow you find yourself on a drizzly, gloomy day trudging along some narrow, muddy precipice. All the trails start to look a like after a week. Dead Man's Heights, Bloodyrock Ravine, Knotted Snake Trail, Skullcracker Pass, the Two Scream Fells.. and all dangerous. The caravan master has figure which to take amd which to avoid, determined by goblin raids, possible future activity and dpnt forget weather. A week in the trek and at least a week to go...maybe more if the breakdowns continue. The caravan is halted as one of the wagons has a broken wheel. Sir Guy, the caravan master summons you to the front of the caravan...with an assignment. It won't be possible to reach the safety of the waystatio tonight. The caravan will be forced to either camp on the road(...NOT a good idea) or find some other accommodations. Sir Guy knows of an abandoned keep not far from here( that is why he is a caravan master). If it is devoid of beasties and nasties they could hold up there till morning. Your mission is to make sure it is secure.

Meta Stuff

This game uses the Dungeons & Beers d2 system (my creation) It is humorous, way less than serious game for those looking for something fun to pass the time with some chums. I am looking for players of drinking age or older...preferably older... to pile in the booth drink some ebeer and have a good time. We will poke fun at stuff, gaming or otherwise, talk about beer and stuff.
The rules are only two pages and I can help new players learn the system...its really easy.

Character Generation Rules...

-You get 12 points to build your character and you must have a minimum of 4 stats
- You get 10 pretzels
-One stat must be a Racial stat if you are something other than human..
Racial stat (elf, dwarf, lizardman...etc) cost 2 points per 1 point in the racial stat. Humans do not need a racial stat.
*What are racial stats? Think what typical traits does your character's race general do across the rpg hobby?

-If you are not a full race then use this...

"Half" racial stats ( Half elf, half orc, half demon, halfling...etc)cost 1.5 points per 1 point in the stat ..remaining half points are lost
-One stat must be a profession stat( ex. Fighter, Wizard, blacksmith, accountant..etc.) You may have multiple profession stats.
*What does a professional stat do? Like a racial stat you use it when you are doing anything that quintessentially is what that profession does according to generally accepted for hobby concepts.
Some rules regarding professions...

-Wizards are limited to "light" weapons and armor. Reason: hey you get magic
-Clerics can not use edged weapons. Reason: see Wizard reason
-Each character also gets either one +2 tool OR two +1 tools. If the tool is defensive the mod applies to enemy task difficulty.

Some rules about magic...

-Player describes what they want to happen. Difficulty set by DD. Throw caps. Bottoms up = backfire. Something bad happen. Hope you got pretzels.
-Wizards can't heal and clerics can't harm....most of the time.

Any old dog worth his salt knows the sweet sting of the onion rush of '64. I wasn't there, but my pappy was. God rest his soul. Two Scream falls true as billed, they said. Twenty years on, my wife has left me, kids on the sauce, and now my geod farm failed, so onions are where it's at.
