Love pnp, new to pbp

I heard about Gamers Plane on the DMB and thought I'd check it out. I DM a home campaign that meets about once a month, but I'd love to play more. Looks like a great community for RPGers, and I can't wait to jump in. Any recommendations for a new player? I feel like I know so little about pbp that I don't even know what to ask or where to start.

Hi Andrsn83! Don't fet not knowing much about PbP; it takes everyone a bit to get used to, but isn't that complex. We're actually in the process of putting together a guide to help people new to GP figure out how to proceed. The best place to start is with the Games Tavern forum. People often post games they're running there, or if they're looking to get into a game. Likewise, you can go to the Games link at the top of the page and edit your LFG on the right hand side. It'll email you when a new game of that type gets created.
