You may notice over time more than 4 players, but that's fine. Folks have lives, and a slightly larger group means it'll be much easier to either split up when needed or have players bow in and out when life ordains. I think the "rogues gallery" setup also allows for not every person to be required on every mission, so hopefully that helps.



As for me, you can call me Lav. I've been on GP for about 3.5 years, and playing in person for 16. My interests include space, sewing, and drawing. I think I'm best described as a "chaotic good" player. I am a firm believer that evil needs consequences eventually, and glimmers of hope are important. At the same time, I've been known to try to diplomatically reason with an elder fire elemental. So......yeah.

I also have a smol fresh bean at home, only 2 months old, and he's amazing (albeit the source of my sleep deprivation).

Hello. I'm a veteran player of any game I can get a group of people to play. I love the "story games" so this system sounded intriguing.

Hello I am a teacher/librarian, and I've been playing table top rpgs for 24(ish) years. I've been on GP for 3 years I think, but did 8 years of pbp on LiveJournal before that.

Hi all! Thanks Lav for having me here, looking forward to both the genre and the lighter tone, and especially the game system. I used to do play-by-email in the stone age, so pbp is how I get my gaming fix these days. Bedz is perfectly fine for easy typing.

Greetings! First latecomer on the scene, I go by Khaki or Phil. I've played several campaigns in this system (one of which I ran on GP over quarantine) and have been playing tabletop in general for about 10 years now. Glad to see Lav at the helm on this one!

I'm going to get the story rolling as we finish up character generation. A couple things to discuss briefly:

Are we writing in 1st person or 3rd? In PBP I prefer 1st person, but I don't mind either way.

Would everyone please choose a color for their character dialogue text? GM retains "dibs" on red and blue for antagonists and allies, respectively.

As we get to know each other's play styles and character personalities better, I'm not opposed to a given poster writing small responses for someone else inside their narrative. It speeds things up. But to start, let's just write ourselves, and revist later.

I know! I don't own that one, but I got the Firefly book using the same Cortex system, and the Marvel game. I love that system, but I haven't had any luck playing it.
