tweak/thread_link

Every time I use the bottom bar in a game to open a different forum, I have to follow up by clicking the 'Last >>' link (and then the End key) to get where I want to be.

Can we change where those (and most other) links point to to go to ?view=newPost#newPost? I assume that is what most people want access to in most cases.

I almost never use that menu. I think I first used it last week, and I was disappointed that it didn't go to the last unread post.

But I'd like to hear from people who do use it.

I never use it either.

I use it all the time and I agree. It would be more useful if it lead to latest/unread

Good enough for me. I'll push it to staging later.

There appears to be a small bug in forming of the links.

If there are unread posts in the target thread the link points to `.../?view=newPost#newPost?view=newPost#newPost` instead of `.../?view=newPost#newPost` doubling up the query string, which takes us to the top of the last page instead of the unread post. If there are not unread posts it links to the correct place.

Good catch vagueGM! I tested on mapdm briefly and seems to be fixed now.
