✅ The Game System and Rules Version. Just to reproduce the title, this is a 2400-based game set in Ancient Ireland (Eriu). The full rules are available at https://tibbiusgames.itch.io/eriu. Here are the pages that you'll actually need in order to play.
✅ The Pitch. Your king is offended because at the last local feast, the neighboring king's champion uttered a mocking verse about the sparseness of your chief druid's beard. Your king wants you all to perform some prank to embarass the offending champion in his own king's hall.
✅ Adult Content or Controversial Themes. I hope not.
✅ Game Duration and Post Frequency. This is intended to be an episode that will be resolved within three-to-four months of posting every day or so by all the players. Okay if people take a few days off from time to time, as long as you've established a character that I'm able to NPC while you're gone (only if essential to move stuff along).
✅ Player Experience Requirements. Anyone's welcome to join. 2400-based games are very easy to learn. Most of the play is common sense based in the fiction.
✅ How to Apply. The first four people to post in this thread get into the game, anyone else who's interested will be contacted if a slot opens up - you may be asked to take over a character, if someone ghosts or expresses loss of interest.
✅ Welcoming Everyone. In my view, we're all here to pretend that we're other people - that's certainly the point of this game. So it would be extremely silly or mean-spirited to set any bars to participation based on who you are in real life. HOWEVER ... if you act like a jerk to other players (or their characters), or particularly if you perseverate on topics that exasperate / horrify others in the game, you'll be asked to leave.
