Long time gamer, new to play by post. Thanks DMB

Greetings fellow gamers and adventurers. I've played RPGs, both table top and video game, for just over 20 years, but this is my first time approaching play by post. I heard all about it on dungeon masters block having just finished that episode earlier today. My RPG life started when my childhood friends mother bought me the box game of dragon strike by TSR right around the time that wizards bought them. Since then I'd played a lot with my family and in video games such as Breath of Fire and a touch of final fantasy and chrono trigger.

I'm looking forward to getting into some games on here to get me back into some regular gaming that isn't purely combat simulation anymore. This is gonna be fun!

Welcome, glad you are trying pbp. I think you'll find it has some differences from IRL gaming that are quite attractive and addictive.

The most appealing bonus to pbp is going to be the ability to play more often than any group I've been a part of since graduating highschool

I would like to jump into some D&D 5th or Pathfinder, as well as some StarWars Edge of the Empire. I want to get introduced to starwars and actually role play some of both of the others listed there.
