We are currently in the beginnings of a 1e campaign and we need players to help fill out the party. We have a paladin, a wizard, and a fighter. Currently, the characters have just broken a smuggling ring in the small village of Saltmarsh in Keoland (World of Greyhawk) and followed up on investigating a nearby lair of lizard men who seemed to be allied with the smugglers. It was discovered that the lizard men were purchasing weapons from the smugglers for an upcoming battle with the evil sahuagin who have taken over their previous home and are planning to launch an attack on the nearby aquatic races. The characters have urged the human community of Saltmarsh to join the aquatic alliance and are currently on their way to investigate the sahuagin lair to determine the strength of the enemy and their defenses.
Campaign Description
This campaign seeks to play through some of the classic AD&D modules of the eighties. It is my hope to keep it running until the end of time (or until the group reaches about 15th level).
System
This game uses the OSRIC or AD&D 1e ruleset. As OSRIC is freely available, we will be defaulting to those rules if there is a discrepancy. OSRIC Unearthed is permitted if you have access to it.
Character Generation
4d6, drop the lowest die and put them in whatever order you want them. Any alignment except chaotic evil is permitted, but be aware that there is a paladin in the party (and if you are evil, it will cause some friction). All characters begin play with 4250 XP, but remember that it must be divided evenly between your classes if you are mutli-classed.
Potential Triggers
No child molestation or trauma, but there is an arc that involves slavery. The slavers are treated as enemies and the whole point of the story arc is to oppose them, but there are depictions of slavery and that may be unsettling for some. Violence will be kept to a PG-13 level, there are no detailed descriptions of rape or sexual molestation, and if things get too racy, we will fade to black.
LGBTQ+ Status
It's really none of my business what your sexual preference or orientation is and it likely won't enter into the game. Everyone is welcome and if your character is gay/trans/poly... that's fine too.
Theater of the Mind
This campaign is largely theater of the mind. I may post a map here or there, but by and large, it takes place in the realm of imagination.

I currently have one opening, but I'm waiting to hear back from some other potential players, so other slots may open up.
