Howdy! I'm Alsojames and I'm here because I can't find a group of people IRL who can get together regularly enough to play together :(

I've played PBP in the past, mostly on the GiantITP forums, so I do have some experience.

Welcome AlsoJames! I am starting a Force and Destiny game very soon, if you are interested. Just follow the link and apply, then you will have access to the game forum at the bottom of your Forums page (a quick tip, toggle the control which says "Show public games" to red so that it filters out games which you are not involved in).

Hi Alsojames! That is a nice list of games! A few of which I've never even heard of, which is exciting for me. I definitely recommend looking into fluglichkeiten's game to get yourself going.

Hi Alsojames, and welcome. One of my IRL troupes is probably playing Through The Breach next, it looks really neat. A bunch of non-standard games get played here, as "Custom" games, so if you don't see a game you want to play in the official list of games 'supported' by Gamersplane, that doesn't mean that it won't be run.

I'm also going to do my best that if someone wants to run a game not on the list, I'll add it without the char sheet immediately and add the sheet when I can.
