Anyone Down for Shadowrun 5e?

Hey guys, I'm new to the site, and I was wondering if anybody is interested in playing a game of Shadowrun 5e?

I could GM one, but I'm more into being a player. If nobody else feels like GMing, I could probably start one up. Currently, my only idea for running a game is an MGS 5-style PMC type game, where you work jobs for clients with an overarching story.

I'm down for just about any kind of game. If my current character doesn't fit, I've got the art of character creation down to a science, so I can whip up whatever might be needed.

Ive never played but I've always been intrigued by it. I would love to try it out.

I am already running a 5e game and it is full, but I would love to play. I already have a decker I built for a previous game that didn't get past the initial meet with the johnson. I'd like to join as that decker if I could

it is a hard system to break in to. steep learning curve, but on youtube there is a whole series of videos done by complex action that explains the rules. highly recommended for newbies

also, download chummer5. trust me, you need it to make a character in a reasonable amount of time

In my opinion it's not that difficult to learn the basics. Only when you get into the nitty gritty of how many modifiers you apply to your roll does it get frustrating. To be perfectly honest I kinda stopped paying attention to all the different combat modifiers after range bands.
