i'm verry excited for this game.
Should we Talk about the group balance? If we begin with 2 hackers and 3 shaman, i won't bet on our survival.

I usually run either a decker or technomancer
r, but I'm willing to branch out into something else

yeah, I already submitted a decker. a rigger is always nice. a technomancer could be a rigger, couldn't they?

I may go with a rigger, just for kicks.

I dunno. It's been so long since I've looked at Shadowrun, I may as well be a newbie. I'll try to get on character creation tonight...gotta finish getting everything ready for vacation, so it might take me a minute.

If you don't mind, i will submit a druid (magician) . I read the alchemy part and i have some idea, i would love to try.

IIRC, technomancers are more or less magical riggers.

We're still looking for one more, but if nobody responds I'll close the game on friday night.

Or magical Hacker, they can do whatever they want in the Matrix.

And a Face, in shadowrun we always need someone to negociate.

You'll be living in the underground complex, so no, you don't have to buy a lifestyle.

How about a gun slinger dps? its one i have started just working out some of the complicated details. hoping to get that character fleshed out soon

i submitted a character and i think i have the basics of the character set i'll keep working on it. im kinda learning three new systems at once.

I should have mine finished up this afternoon. I've got to finish spending my karma, and then I -THINK- I'll be done with it. Maybe. Hopefully.

...probably not. I haven't touched SR in forever, so I'm sure I missed something.

My character is ready, I am waiting for our glorious and magnificient GM to confirm it before writing the BG.

Ronan, you've got Escape artist down 3 times, but other than that, everyone's good. I'll write up a post either tonight or tomorrow.

OK I'll fix it and keep working out the character, this week is busy with a move, overtime and crossfit. I'll try to keep up.

Posted the IC. Like I said, I won't advance the story until everyone's available, but you can do some light RP if you want.

Except for vehicles and equipment, my character is done. Inlaws have a lot planned for us this week, so this whole "visiting them on vacation" thing is making it a little difficult for me to get a spare moment to post the character XD

It's all good. Some light RP to get to know the NPCs and each other is perfectly fine :)

Character has been "submitted", sorta. I've gotta finish fleshing out the GP sheet, but I included a PDF of the sheet I made using Chummer5 (thanks for the suggestion there, Darthoingoboingo. Wonderful piece of software)

seriously. I've played shadowrun for years, and I still don't know how to make a character without a program

I haven't played in years...I've owned the 5e book since it came out, but never actually got to play...I basically had to start from scratch XD

well, you don't need any hardware. although a cheap commlink would help hide you're a techie

chummer has PAKS you can buy: a combination of items commonly used by runners. it's a lot quicker than picking it out by yourself.

Yeah, Chummer is being stupid about the packs. I MIGHT have to re-install it, to see if I can get it to work right.

Beyond that, I can always just work with the ST and see what all I can get.

Yes, even as a Technomancer, a ComLink is recommended. It allow you to have somewhere to put the data after the hack.

Hey Alsojames, when you get the chance, can you take a look at my sheet and tell me if there's anything I've missed? I appreciate it, oh mighty GM.

Everything seems to be on the up and up, but you're missing Contacts. You get 3xCharisma (6) points to distribute between your Contacts' Loyalty and Influence. Could come in handy.

Ooo, I even rolled one of them up when I did his Lifepath.

Damned, I didn't see this rules. I used the 25 free Karma.

I have seen some other Game and they seem to have a thread for each Character and their Background. Should we do the same?

It all depends on what the GM wants. I know Knifesedgegames does that to make character creation simpler on him, because he will run games to teach people to play and help roll their characters with them.

We can do that, sure. And then it's easier to read people's backgrounds, etc.
