Long character nanes

I'm not sure whether this is a bug in the code or the player.

I don't see what the issue is. Unless a player choosing a long character name is the issue

I think that the box shouldn't expand indefinitely; same for the sheet button.

It'll introduce horizontal scrolling on mobile devices. The fix is probably "See that? Stop doing that."

Indeed. Long names are fine inside the sheet, but the sheet name should be kept at a considerate length.

Unless the player specifically wants everyone to refer to them by that full name, of course. That is what gets pasted in when someone hits the quill next to the name, so that is probably what they will called.

It is quick complete for hard to type names. Try it below on the Characters Menu.

I know Adam will just tell me to read the development notes, but I've never seen that. And I never would have thought of that either 😄

When I saw your last post in here, I spent minutes trying to find any quill to click but I never thought of checking there.

It's probably not important in Sweden, but try DMing some games where the players choose mad vowel-laden elven names!

It could be helpful if I need to write some darn name with an å
