Formula for rolling classic attributes

I tried 3D6, 3D6,3D6,3D6,3D6,3D6, and it did not give me the totals. It gave me three individual dice. Ones were marked with skulls, sixes with swords.

How do I get a 3d6 total?

Hmm it worked in this forum but not mine.

It sounds like you have dice rules set for your game that change the rendering and hide totals.

And to think I thought that checkmark had to do with pictures.
