Mobile select scrolling speed

I don't know if this is an easy fix or not. I primarily use GP on my IPhone 13 and for the most part it works well. One issue I have found, though, is if I have a post written and supposing I want to select text to copy and paste, when I click and drag the text selection box in the post editing window down it works OK, but if I try to drag the text selection box up it moves at hyperspeed and selects to the beginning of the edit field. My work around is just to select all text, copy and paste into a note on my phone and make my selections via my notes. I'm not sure if there is some specific mobile scrolling speed that could be adjusted?

It's a hard issue to describe so I'm sorry if I'm not doing it well :)
