Able to post as non-approved character

I had a character that was able to post in character without me ever accepting his character sheet into the game. That was actually an oversight on my part, but it seems when he would hit 'Advanced' he would be able to select his player even though I had never put the approval on the character into the game.

When on the forum normally he wouldn't see the character drop-down, but when he would hit advanced I guess he could post as that character.
