Lilac is brought up to Level 5. For reference, at least initially, I'm going to add this here (on this "Lilac's Notes & Goals" thread). I may or may not also put it in the Improvement or Notes section of the character sheet, just not now since I don't have the other four levels entered there yet.
Level 5 Updates:
-Overall XP: from 13 to 18
-HP: from 24 to 27
-BAB from 3 to 4
-Saves to 11, 9, 11
-Skill points pool: 3 skill points + 1 Partial Expert + 2 carried over from Level 4 = 6. Expended as 3 to raise Notice from 1 to 2, 2 to raise Pilot from 0 to 1, and 1 carried over into future levels. If we're enforcing the page 57 text about requiring a teacher or explanation for use of carried over skill points, then I will "explain" 2 of the 3 points put into Notice as improvement in her watchfulness from the experience of being a guard on the Savannah Tower expedition (though how that differs from the "having been perfected over the past level", I'm not sure - this rule seems designed to stop an abuse of which I haven't yet thought).
-Level 5 Focus: Specialist (Shoot). This raises Shoot from 1 to 2 and makes the roll 3d6.
-Goals: What she has learned so far has likely only whetted Lilac's appetite for digging into what may lie at the root of the tensions between the KTL and Basajuan. I'll keep this as a goal for her, although realistically she might not be able to pursue it again for a while, depending on where their travels take them. For that reason, I'm going to reclassify it as a Long Term goal (see the change noted on this thread also).
