Avenger of the Fey

Backstory:
A young German kid grew up with the knowledge that his father was a nazi scientist developing weapons for the awful war. He doesn't know his father well, and believed that he fled somewhere after the war, abandoning his wife and only son. As he entered university, he pursued to study archaeology, where he will get a job that he hopes will enlighten him about his father's past and the general history of Germany. What he did not expect to discover was that his father was a member of Hitler's secret occult weapons manufacture program. Apparently, germanic fey and elves were captured by his father and experimented on.

Unfortunately, government agents were heard to have been sent to destroy all evidence of such acts, and so our archaeologist have decided to steal one of the rune-covered sniper rifles and escape with an elf lady he freed. They both lived in the quiet country side, where his elf girlfriend and him get to hide from the agents that might want to hunt them down. As they live together, the elf taught him the art of enchanting weapons and bullets with fairy power. He also gets dancing and animal hunting lessons by her. He still sucks at dancing gracefully, but he is a good shot with a bow or a gun.

His fiance wants to get married in the woods where her family are, but as they went to her magical spot, human agents have set up an ambush to attack them. A shoot out occurred, which left his partner dead. He swore to exact vengeance upon those who killed his promised-lifelong-mate. His investigations have led him to America, where he heard a group of individuals who seek to hunt mythical creatures have their headquarters there. From there, he continued to be work part time as a pawn shop owner and an archaeologist. He of course, made use of a new identity...

His current magic items:

1) A sniper rifle with elvish runes. It is capable of shooting bullets that either explode on impact, or track down its target like a homing missile.
2) 2 handaxes with runes. This is his creation, with help from his girlfriend. They are capable of being wrapped in fire, or a fierce wind. Striking targets with it will spread the energies.
3) Dual revolvers. (I want to buy from your list in the buying thread.) Enchanting modern guns are more challenging, but he manages to do it. It was these handguns that allowed him to fight back against his wife killers.
4) A magnifying glass(?) that can either magically produce an illusion to create scratches and damages on items, or make them more better looking. He uses this in his business to "bargain" with his customers.

There can be more, but idk how much I can push this.

Lets stick with just those magic items for right now.

How old would your dad currently be?

Your fiancé did she die or did she vanish?

The dad would be 70 to 90 if he is still alive. (I will have him being dead or alive be a mystery for you to use.)

The fiance is clearly dead. After resisting the ambushing agents with her own Elven speed and magicks, she got shot and bled out in front of him.

And sure, he will be a friend of the owner of the pawn shop. So makes it that he doesn't exactly own the artefacts there.

Btw, I am thinking that Walter's fiance could still be alive and kidnapped too. It was a messy confrontation, and the last thing he knew was that she was bloodied and he was either running for his life, or that he was chasing after one of the attackers.

He was so filled with fear and rage that day, the exact details are a bit muddled. And so he accepted that the result was that he lost her and is willing to settle down in a new country while helping an expert hacker and forensic who also knows of the supernatural.
