Excellent -- all looks clear!

I intend to make a snake-style reptile lad: do let me know if there are tweaks to it you'd suggest to account for anything too

The setting has beast-folf (see here) but I did not list a snake variant. I have no problem with it. Do you have an idea for the heritage trait or do you want some suggestions?

Took a look at your character and just some feedback
I like the Patient trait.
The Poison-ken trait can be expanded a bit to include antidotes and the medicinal uses of toxins
As for the Serpent heritage trait you can replace claws with something different if you like. Below are a couple of examples
+ Flexible : your skeletal structure is not as rigid allowing you to bend/move in unusual ways. combined effects of contortionist and double jointed
+ poisonous : you can spit poison onto an adjacent target. The poison can either cause damage or cause some kind of effect such as reduced movement, disadvantage for 1 round, temporary blindness, etc but this must be selected at creation time. The mechanics can be worked out based on the type of effect you would select - roll to hit, saving throw, both (for potent effects)

Looks like you are about good to go. You start with a minor magic item. Basically any minor effect that does not really directly game mechanics is allowed. An example for your character might be an item that can extract and store toxins. This is something you can already do, with a container, but the item would let you do it quicker and easier.
