Character Backgrounds

Aengus Moonwolf is a Twilight Domain Cleric of Selûne, having been tended to at the Temple of the Moon following his affliction by Lycanthropy. For many years he served as a Temple priest provided healing to the people of Waterdeep, with a special focus on tending to the residents of asylums and sanitariums.

However, during his spiritual formation, the young priest came under the influence of the Order of the Sun Soul based at the Monastery of the Sun in Waterdeep and was persuaded that Lathander, Selûne and Sune are three fractured aspects of the god Amaunator worhsipped during the time of the Netheril. This new found conviction caused friction at the Temple of the Moon, and Aengus realised the time had come to follow the itinerant path of the Selûnite calling.
