I did not find Town's folk as background, where did you see it ?

Oh yes sorry, I wanted this to be a custom background and have my character be a resident of Newville.

OK let's try to devise one, Guild artisan would work really well too.
Town Folk
Skill Proficiency: History, Persuasion (you know the town well and are proud of its history; dealing with people every day helps you with persuasion)
Tool Proficiency: One type of Artisan's Tool
Language: One of your choice
Equipment: Set of Artisan's tool (chosen one), set of common clothes, a nice beer mug, a belt pouch with 10 gp

When it comes to Artisans tools, I’ll choose a set of Woodcarver’s tools. We can say that my PC uses them to build musical instruments since he is a Bard.

As far as language, maybe my character could speak the local dialect if there is one. Otherwise maybe one that belongs to another race that inhabits the town or its surroundings.

I think I just used the standard array from D&D beyond for my abilities. Should I re-roll them?

Nope it would be too easy. I am going to be very kind to you and allow you a second throw like everyone else, you'll still be able to keep your stats as they are if you're not satisfied.
