Okay here's mine:
Dennan is a woodsman/hunter with a rather acute connection to the wild and its beasts. As a child, he was the sole survivor of a raid/massacre on his village. The members of his village were either killed or taken captive. Alone at the age of fourteen, he found ways to survive for a year in his razed village, hunting and gathering, until eventually orcs began to cover the area, forcing him to flee.
The forest simultaneously became his home and his veil. He developed an unlikely relationship with a lone wolf who he saved from a bear. Since then, the wolf has never wandered too far from Dennan and has come to his aid a number of crucial times.
Dennan is generally mistrustful of humans, seeing most as no different than the slave traders who destroyed his village and captured his people. He ventures to towns and cities as rarely and cautiously as possible, preferring the raw purity of the wilderness. On the other hand, he has made some connections in the villages of halfings. Spending a considerable amount of effort policing the woodlands, on a number of perilous occasions he was forced to ‘reroute’ orcs and other nefarious bands of humans to keep them far away from the peaceful lives of the halflings. An army of one, at home in the forest, using it as his weapon against those disconnected from its nuances.
Dennan has no love for raiders or slavers and has vowed to one day locate and deal vengeance to those who killed his family and abducted his people. BUT perhaps that day won’t occur. Because in his latest attempt to keep an orc raiding party away from the pristine areas of the forest and off the trails that lead to the cheerful fields and warm holes of haflings, Dennan was finally overtaken by the orcs while he was allowing himself to be tracked away from the forest. Now captured and combined with other abducted prisoners, he is being delivered to an unknown fate.
Dennan is now 22 years old. He’s weathered and sturdy, about 5’ 9" with rusty hair. He wears furs and a cloak. Quite reserved and mistrustful, he doesn’t waste words and prefers quiet, solitude, and the company of beasts, over the loud baggard behavior of other humans. He is willing to risk himself to protect others, especially those who either cannot protect themselves or are naive to the dangers of the world.
