Awesome, thank you. I've submitted a character. Hopefully got the format right.

A couple of thing on your character
1 - The concept is cool but to clarify Ixi is a humanoid with wings in place of arms and her taloned feet double as as hands?
2 - The talons are more Natural than small weapons and this is usually a Trait according to the rules but taken with the lack of hands etc I will allow it (just FYI) So Ixi is skilled in natural weapons only at this point.
3 - The way I picture the wings working is essentially Ixi's "Finger" bones are in the wings and extremely long. However as they are inside the wing she has extremely limited dexterity with their use though she should be able to hold large items that are not too heavy. Heavy object would have to be held in the crook of her arm/wing elbow.
4 Just to compensate a bit for the wings and talons I reduced Ixi's max health form 6 to 5. As a flyer her bones are strong but light and her muscles are lean and strong but all of this makes her slightly less robust when compared to humans.
5 - Gear and Anatomy : These are just ideas on how I imagine it not really important but gives you an idea of how I view your unique character.
+ With you primary manipulation digits also acting as your feet I imagine that the Avian people would naturally be inclined to use their mouths for light and simple tasks.
+ How about a lantern instead of a torch? It is shapes like a torch, with a lantern atop a rod that your wings can handle.
+ Avians can sleep laying down but are also able to sleep simply crouching down and wrapping their long wings around their legs and shoulders. This keeps the feathers clean and eliminates the need for a heavy bedroll which can be replaced with a warm poncho that is used for sleeping while crouched.

Ok the other new player is on board with teaming up. I wil set the stage for you tomorrow but as they have already started I will be pulling you into their story.
If you want you can alter this background a bit to fit your character concept.

Ixi's Origin
Ixi's tribe lives deep in the mountains (Nomadic, primitive village, village, or city?) Though aware of the other races they interact litle with them but Ixi's yearning to view the worls has lead her to "bumb" into the ocasional wander, usualy dwarves that shre the mountains with the tribe but usually stay below the surface, that enered the tribes teritory. She eventually became friends with a dwarvenfemal herbalist who often hired Ixi to help collect the plant she needed but were difficult for the landbound herbalist to collect. Paid mostly in stories and information of the outside world the herbalist was the one who suggested Ixi head to Gamulur to begin her world treking.

The cit of Gamulur
Gamulur was originally a small dwarvish town struggling after the Shattering. Some time ago trade was establish with the nearby human and elvish regions brining into Gamulur new people and money causing to city to grow though much of the development is outside the dwarvish city councils control.

Once we are clear on your character and you feel ready we will start I will create a story thread and your first mission is to simple enter Gamulur. That is where you wil lmeet the other character.

Thank you. I was looking to sacrifice a skill in light/heavy/ranged weapons for natural weapons. This is perfect.

Perfect! Sounds like we have the same idea in our head about her. Thanks for working with me on this unique idea.

Backstory works for me; she'd definitely be interested in payment through stories and such for such a simple (to her) task. I envision her home village as a primitive village. That suggestion from the herbalist could be exactly the push she needed to finally take off and see the world. I'm good to go.

OH I don't know if we'll run into each other in the game but this thread popped up on my feed and I just want to say, what a cool character concept. Very well thought through, too.
