Thanks for the invite. Will you allow all sources, or is there any books that won't be allowed. And do anyone have any ideas already. Been a while, so need to read up a little before I come up with a concept.

Been a while for me too. I think I’d like to play a leader, but I have no idea which one yet.

Think I'll go with my old standby, the dwarf cleric.

Ditto on been a while. Planning to look over books tonight.

Looking at it a little more I'm leaning towards Sorcerer.

Think leaning warden or possibly druid. Give us a defender However I don't know how finicky it will be to use the wardens reactions in pbp.

Hey guys, thanks for your patience. For books, lets go with PHB, PHB II, PHB III and the Powers books for now. I don't want to overcomplicate the game too much. I know 4e somewhat, but I'm not a guru lol. I'd say that a Leader, Defender and Striker would be good. Dwarf Cleric and Sorcerer is a good start. Do you all know how to make characters or do you need any help? Thanks.

I’m good to make my character, I just need to find the time.

Once I found the character builder and was able to install it, it went great. Will be a plain old human sorcerer.

Will go for a Storm Warden. Likely goliath or half orc.

I should be alright with the building, didn't seem to complex. (Though whether it's a good build is a different story :p)

Dwarf Cleric, Human Sorcerer and Goliath/Halforc Warden are all good. Sounds like you guys are coming along nicely. I always have loved Halforcs too, even from 1e. The options are so nice in 4e though too.

Edit: Ignore me, it's only weird when edit, it fixes itself when not in edit mode.

I'm tempted by a dragonborn warlord, still reacquainting with character creation though.

Only one character has been submitted and approved, so we have time guys. I'm not in a rush and this will be more relaxed. Keep thinking and discussing, sounds like we got a party forming.

So far we have a Human Sorcerer.

I might be being an idiot, but remind me how many class powers we get?

Are we limited to the gods in the Player's Handbook? I'd like Tordek to worship Clangedden Silverbeard, the dwarven god of battle.

Clangedden is fine.

1st level characters get 2 At-Will powers, 1 Encounter power and 1 Daily power.

@LightOfMidnight Is Storm Warden a melee build? I’m picking my powers and want to know how best to boost the party.

Late to the party.
I see a dwarf battle cleric (Leader), human sorcerer (striker), and big-guy storm warden (striker).
Before seeing the party I was thinking Eladrin warlord (Leader).
Will that still work? If not, I can bring a Dragonborn Paladin (defender).

Warden is a defender as a heads up, and storm lends towards control as secondary. The entire idea is she pulls enemies close to her and doesn't let them get to anyone else/intercepts when they do.

So don't feel you have to be a defender.

I'm trying to fill out the character sheet on this website. Since I've never used this site or 4e idk what I'm doing. On the skills section, do I list all skills or just the skills I'm trained in? And how do I show I'm trained? An example sheet would be great.

You could do either or. I know some people just do trained but I like to put them all on for an easy reference.

Enter them all, and just add a +5 bonus if you're trained in a skill. Do you have any other questions?
