Ok guys, we lost a player. But one other guy was interested, so I reached out to him. 2 of you have approved characters, so I'd like to start posting tomorrow. Does that work for you all? Or do you want to wait for the other players to make their characters? Let me know.

Sorry I've had a fun week. I'll try and get her out my head and onto the sheet tonight. She's basically done, its just transferring everything over

Very rapid check given an implication first post - Was the conscription only men? As I had automatically make character female. I can try and adjust or perhaps a slightly different reasons she's in the outpost. (Or just more conscripted due to being half-orc)

With 4e being the system, I'd say that women are at the outpost too. There's only about 20 female soldiers, but you'll fit in. Thanks for asking.

Hello all. I am new to this game, pbp, and 4e. So please bare with me. I have read everything except the story. I will try to read up on 4e, make a character, and read up on the story all tonight. Seeing as I'm new and have no clue, please give me pointers and even characters that would be helpful for the party.

So a Wizard or another Controller class would be good. Each class is defined by Defender, Leader, Striker or Controller and each class specializes in different things. You don't have to know them real good, but they do define good what a class can do. PHB is a good source of information and I know you're new, so take your time. You don't have to jump in immediately.

Did you all make backgrounds? If so detailed ones or just vague ones?

Also on roleplay, I noticed you guys took so assumptions, like someone roleplayed the mirror was just a mirror instead of waiting for the Dm to tell them it was or not. Is that normal or should I ask and wait for the dm to answer in stuff like that.

I mean you can assume things, and I'll correct you if you're wrong. Normally I will describe things and then you comment. Don't worry too much, we all make mistakes from time to time and I'll not crucify you for it lol.
