Marvel superheroes faserip. Interest

Hi I was wondering if anyone was interested in running a marvel faserip game preferably with make your own characters. Also would anyone else be interested in playing?

Have a character that was in a game that fizzled out 😥 wouldn't mind a chance to start them over 🙂

I love randomness, but I also enjoy building on CP's to get all the same power level. Random by UPB can be quite a difference in character power levels.

I really like X-Men myself.

clarification please what you mean by street level

"Street level" usually refers to characters who function at a lower level... they protect a district or burrough. Thry deal with common criminals, mafia, and weaker villains.

Think... Daredevil, Punisher, Iron Fist, Hawkeye, Luke Cage, and so on. Spider-Man is a notable unique case, because he's considerably more powerful than street level, but that's the level he usually operates at. And, as you might surmise from Hawkeye (and this would include Black Widow, Mockingbird, etc.), there can be street level heroes on teams that function at a much higher level.

Like, many mutants would be considered "street level" in terms of power, but the X-Men deal with much larger issues, travel the world, shit they even go into space *a lot*. It's less of a set idea, and more of an umbrella of lower-powered and lower-stakes plots and styles.

I like street level, and maybe just slightly above (typical X-Men villains) myself, and while I definitely like shows like The Boys, Invincible, etc I find that I enjoy roleplaying as the more comical (ha) heroes. Give me heart, give me jokes and quips, give me redemption arcs that's what I say. :)

well, maybe it's just me, I'd prefer to play a mutant character. This doesn't necessarily mean they have to be part of the X Men or any associated groups, though. I'm sure there are lots of mutants in the Marvel universe who never connected to Xavier's.

I’m personally fine with whatever.I just don’t want to play any real characters that are already made. I want to try my hand at a new one.

As much as I'd like to play, it's looking so far like no takers on running the game. I haven't run a game of MSH in a while, so I'll have to think on it.

I know there were some modules printed back in the day for the system, maybe one of them would be fun to play through?

I'm looking for two players for my FASERIP game. They are pre-made characters though so not everyone posting here will be interested. The characters can have some deviations though since it's an alternate timeline. Thread is here if anyone is interested.
