The Game: TROIKA! is a rules-lite science-fantasy role-playing game where you and your cosmopolitan group of fellow travellers explore the ends of multiverse. You will fly on mystic barges, help dying gods, solve confounding crimes, plunder dead worlds, and meet strange & wonderful people. Character generation is quick and entirely random, providing each player with unique and interesting characters. There is not a lot of setting material or character description, so you as a player will be required to fill in the gaps.
The Adventure: I'll be running the intro adventure from the rule book. The characters arrive at The Blancmange & Thistle hotel looking for suitably glamorous accommodation for their first few days in the city of Troika. The concierge informs the party that they are hosting their annual Feast of the Chiliarch on the roof and as a result there is unfortunately only one room on the 6th floor left and that they "simply must attend the party" and that it’s "a positive delight to have you." In a fit of politeness you all agree to share the remaining room. Your goal is to reach the 6th floor to reach your room and attend the party.
Timeframe: This is a relatively short adventure, I'm estimating it will run about a month. Character creation is very fast so I think we can get started by the end of the week.
Who: Looking for six players who can post regularly. There won't be much rolling to slow things down, so posting rate will be 5/week, more if you'd like. This game hinges on player creativity and initiative so I'm looking for proactive players who don't mind creating fun characters and strange worldbuilding. Post below if you're interested!
