Sorry folks! I'll move things along in the next day or so. I've been bouncing between sick as a dog, and catching up for my day job in the interim. :(

Today is my and my wife's 12th wedding anniversary, so not sure I'll have much time the rest of today but we'll see... :)

Happy anniversary! I'll be running a marathon vampire game today (10-12 hours long), so won't be online much at all.

My apologies. Apparently having a good anniversary meant that I had to get sick after.... I got hit with a major Sinus Cold/Flu which put me in bed for a couple of days.

My internet provider has been having issues with the network in our entire neighborhood over the past few months, with days where the internet going in and out all day long. They finally decided to upgrade some system pieces, but they took way long, and too many days to get it done. This is the first day I've been able to login reliably for over a week.

I'll get caught up on everything asap. :)

Note/FYI: Very low blood sugar can mimic signs of a stroke.

It was my wife with the issue. Tried to wake her up after letting her sleep in a bit, and she couldn't speak, only groan and not move at all. After about half an hour, she could move, stand, but barely speak. Started to ER at that point and when they got her back to the room her blood sugar was a 43. So, half an hour earlier, it had to have been in the 30's... They gave her some sugar water in an IV, and it brought her up to a 75 after 2 hours...

She had had a stroke back in 2020, and was afraid it was happening again.... Also, she just turned 50, so her stroke was at 47... Proof it can hit anyone, any time so definitely hug your loved ones every day....

Good to hear tis better, I took a pill that dropped my blood sugar like that. I had to carry a bottle of pop or gatoraid just in case. I'd start to feel weird, like my brain wasn't attached to my body and that's when I knew.

Yes. Definitely a reminder to hug loved ones all the time.

Status Update: I feel that I have self-torpedoed this game by not keeping up on it. For that I deeply apologize.

At the moment, I don't know exactly what it has been that kept me fidgeting about moving things forward. I'm considering placing it on an official hiatus for a bit until I can wrap my mind more into GMing the system properly.

I do want to hear any thoughts you all may have. All opinions appreciated and taken into consideration. :)

Posting in a game is a habit, and how fast I post depends on the perceived speed of the game. So absences beget absences from all. We're all responsible for falling into that pattern.

I know that I have let business in life keep me from properly learning this system and as a result my contribution has been minimal even when there are posts to follow up on.

In a way, I’m glad that it has been slow because otherwise I would have fell far behind.

As far as a hiatus goes, that would be okay with me. But I would keep playing if the game continues at any pace.

On another note, GP seems to randomly turn off my email notifications for games now and then.

Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong to make that happen?

How are we feeling about this, @knighthawke. Is this game something we can salvage?

Are there adjustments we could make as players to make it more engaging to run for us?

Yeah, just let us know. I would make any adjustments and keep going in the game.

Thank you all. I think we can keep going. Not sure that anything really needs to change other than my paying closer attention and concentrating on keeping it going.
