This is a custom fantasy world and I am open to custom content but I do have a framework that I like to keep thinks in if possible. Just tell me what your are thinking and we can work on helping you set up and into the game.

Hey there! I think I'm mostly settled on what character options I want to use. I don't seem to be able to edit some of the options in the character sheet though. Could be I'm doing something wrong?

I also had a couple questions about the setting:

First, what do the duende look like? I saw only that they're roughly Halfling-sized. I dig that they're nomads. I've always loved that archetype for fictional cultures.

Second, do you use any particular naming conventions for the cultures in your setting? I just picked a Mongolian one I thought sounded cool, but I enjoy making characters fit into the world as well as I can, so am happy to change it.

Section with the black header and quill can be edited by clocking on the quill. The character sheet can all be edited. When on the character sheet tap the pencil icon in the top right corner.
Or tell me what your want changed if code formatting is not something you want to deal with.

Duende are typically Hunan in appearance but 1/3 to 1/2 size. However I have left most of my world as a rough outline. Pick any source you like for your names.

The Shattering is similar to biblical Tower of Babble where the people became divided. I plotted out some common trends but it is not restrictive. So in one party of the world the duende might look more elven, other regions they might be green skinned and be called goblin.

We have one Duende already Baruman. He is small with pointy ears and pink

Okay, so I feel silly. I had not realized the inkwell icon was the button you clicked to edit those details. I should be good to go now!

Thanks for the elaboration on duende. I'll stick with Khaguran for the name, and I think looking a little more goblinoid would actually be cool.

Alright I fleshed out some detail on your traits and set your weapon proficency to ranged and gave you a slingshot. Let me know if this is ok or you want to change something

Do you have an idea of what you want your character origin to be or should I just make something up to drop you into the story? (Trying to buid a starting point)

The basic is there is an expedition exploring ruins from before the last great war and the payers head there for fame, fortune, and adventure.

Once those things are set we can get going

The changes you made sound good! As far as character concept, I was thinking maybe he's trying to always sharpen his clarity of mind and strength of body by seeking out strenuous challenge. Probably lives a pretty rigorous ascetic lifestyle. In addition to that, always looking for interesting combinations of minerals in the soil wherever he travels, to see what qualities they can lend to his pottery.

As such, I reckon any promise of a physical/mental/spiritual challenge along with ancient artworks is a good reason for him to go adventuring.

It looks like you missed the bit in the character creation thread where I let everyone start with a minor magic item. Think about it and let me know if you have a prefference. Literlly anything can be magic though the starting item is weak so hae fun with your imagination

Oh yeah, I did overlook that. What about like, a clay jar that will never spill its contents unintentionally?

This simpe glazed jar holds a quart of liquid and will never crack, tip over, or leak as long as the lid is in place

FYI @Rizado96 you can add an image to your character for a character avatar.. To do this open your character, click the pencil, top right, and the the "Chang Avatar" link, top righ again.
