Character Creation

I am playing Elise Babano, her civilian alias. Her short story is she was born in the 1600s and became a Baba Yaga style monster when her family was betrayed by her lover/fiancé. A little while ago, someone brought her here to hurt people but she encountered a hunter who made her remember she wasn't always a monster. That might have been another PC or at least someone tied to one, we'll figure that out in the introduction stage. I'll be playing her as a former Boogey Man who isn't sure about her future path anymore.

Sorry everyone, I am on the road to a graduation in another state. I didn't think I'd be driving as much of the trip that I did. Here are my Histories.

@ctme2000, Parker tried to slay Elise, but she conviced them she was on the side of good. What convinced Parker?

@Ledosero, Alex and Elise fought together against a hive of young vampires and prevailed. We make a good if odd team.

@rossum, Elise is romantically obsessed with Janos. Does he know? Do they reciprocate?

Janos definitely knows. He's a little sharp, and if she's OBSESSED obsessed, then it's gotta be obvious in a thousand different ways, yeah? He can put two and two together. As for reciprocation- He's interested and curious, but reserved and a little guarded when it comes to mixing personal relationships with the biz of monster hunting again after losing his mentor. It's been a while for him since having any kind of meaningful relationship, and he knows they both could live a very long time... which would be bad if things don't work out and they stick together.

Ok. Let's bring up some introductions here.


A rival at first, but you came to a working arrangement.
@AutomAtomic I was thinking this could work with Elise.
Alex and Elise might have been competing each other on clearing out those vampires.
Show off who is the best hunter in town! Until we found out that we had to work together to beat them.
We might still try compete in getting kills in, but that is what drives us an makes us an actually good team.

With your Mentor from another life. on me, I am thinking the following now.
We could be a sort of two-souls educating each other in an endless cycle of birth and rebirth.
In my previous life I was a wise old wizard, a man who educated Janos in magic.
Now he is reborn as a girl in the Bishop family and quite unexpectedly Chosen. Maybe Janos knew that and is now mentoring
Alex. And some time in the future, roles will be reversed again.
