What setting would you like? I have a Naruto and a DBZ hack that I worked on, but I also wanted to play an Appleseed setting, or Macross, possibly. But ultimately, I want to see how it is supposed to be run, because the few times I tried, I felt like I was missing something...
I'm also interested in the examples how Cypher system game should be GMed... but have no idea about those settings and no experience with a system... :) So I hope you will leaver your game with a public forum so I can read it:)
but have no idea about those settings and no experience with a system
I'm always happy to have people with no experience, and as for settings; given that I'd do my own setting and use one as a base I don't think it'd be a problem not to know them. If you'd rather not join though, I understand.
It mostly depends on the pace of the game you are planing. As with number of current games - that I have to prioritize due to respect of my fellow players and GMs - I'm not able to promise everyday posting. More like 2-3 per week and I don't play at weekends at all.
I can promise consistency: I will not vanish/leave the game without a world and will always be willing to get back to the game even if the pace will slow down or we will have a planned brake - because of other players. I see PbP as long term commitment... (self sarcasm: so innovative! ;) that can go for years.
But I can't promise everyday posting and that there won't be weeks when I will make only 1 post (have a lot of work usually).
I do usually say once a day with the caveat of "hopeful, but not expected." 2-3 a week is more of what I expect tbh, and I work means I can be spotty at times myself, though I try to be as consistent as I can. It's all good, and real life comes first!
I am interested but am only vaguely familiar with Appleseed, watched it a bit years ago, and Cypher, heard about it and looked into Numinera but have not played a game yet. I also try for daily and can keep a 3 per week commitment, barring IRL happening in unexpected ways :)
Nice! I’ll keep my eyes open for this one and maybe try to lurk. I love the cypher system, just don’t know enough about Appleseed to be comfortable playing.
Glad Cypher is getting some play though. I had an idea for running a Cypher game so maybe we’ll see how well this one does and maybe that’ll give me the courage to start a game in the system.
