Phumas Nejhem (Genisisects Character)

Phumas is from a land distant to the east, a region of hot dry lands. Where he was from there were two main kingdoms Bal'Bezail and Darco'Thuarn. In these lands pure blooded humans are quite rare. The lands of Bal'Bezail is ruled by a noble caste of Tieflings where as Darco'Thuarn is ruled by a noble caste of dragonborn. Both nations run on a slave economy, the slave caste consisting of half-orcs and genasi.

Phumas was born to a family of foundry workers in Darco'Thuarn , but was sold into arcana caste as he seemed to posses arcane talents. Though he mastered several basic cantrips, he was incapable of learning magic in the sorcerous style prevalent in the lands of the dragon. So he was sold to a caravan and taken to Bal'Bezail, where he was purchased as an apprentice to a wizard. Who always preferred purchasing apprentices from Darco'Thuarn as they were already familiar with draconic. Phumas was a precocious apprentice, who learnt quickly in his formal study of magic and was raised to the arcana caste. But tragedy struck, in an arcane accident Phumas' master was killed, and Phumas was blamed for his death. He had to flee his homeland making his way towards the west, seeking a new life...
