I added information to your traits.
Let me know if you have any idea on a minor magical item item for your character. No mechanical advantage but useful and good for character flavoring.
I believe you are the first bandit :), though a few city urchin thieves have passed through the game.
When you are ready to join the story please post a short description or bio of information you wish to be public to the other players here
If you have any particular prompt for your transition to an adventurer from your former life let me know.

Thank you so much for the help! I chose for my magical trinket, 'a small stone that bonces off of anything". I wrote it under items, should I place it elsewhere for easier reference? I wrote up Etcher's background and will post it now. He is offically an ex-bandit as of the start of the story!

At the moment I'd love to post daily! Things may change in the future, but at least for the next month I can post daily.

There is a group that is consistently posting daily. 3 old timers (several months) with another newcomer in the pipe. I will plan to pull you into there then

I really had not thought of that! I think I would prefer arms and wing. Makes for a more interesting swordsman.

Although you have to yet join a group you have done everything needed for the introductions. Go ahead and think of what you want to add to Etcher. Another trait, weapon mastery (3d6 to attack), another weapon group proficiency. Let me know what you want to add to your character

I have a faint idea for my third skill. I'd like to have "The Voice'' be a skill of mine. I'm thinking he rolls (3d6?) to give disadvantage to a target. If successful, the target has disadvantage against Etcher for the scene or on their next action? Perhaps he could also use it to give himself a one time advantage on a roll if the Voice takes an Oath or vow?

I am really open to any changes to this idea.

So are you thinking of it as a social skill or intimidation in combat or a hybrid?
I think it can work any which way and recall seeing something similar in some of the material. I will look over the rules and give you an rough draft tomorrow.

I'm thinking of it as a hybrid ability. Like it can be used in combat, but I'd also like it to be used as kinda of an almost divine judgment in social situations. If someone or something lied, or acted hypocritical, or in bad faith, the Voice could manifest to call them out.

Options
A : Test 2d6 against a creature within 10 feet of you. On a success, the target must roll a Save Test to avoid being affected by the voice. If they fail they fall under the influence of the voice and all Tests performed by the target are at a Disadvantage. The influence effect lasts
until the enemy rolls a successful Save Test on their turn.

B : Target a creature within 10 feet of you that must roll a Save Test to avoid being affected by the voice. If they fail they fall under the influence of the voice and all Tests performed by the target are at a Disadvantage for 1 round.

I'll take option A, seems fun. I like the idea that the voice may not always act consistantly.

The Voice
Test 2d6 against a creature within 10 feet of you. On a success, the target must roll a Save Test to avoid being affected by the voice. If the target fails it's save all Tests performed by the target are at a Disadvantage. This lasts for 1 minute. At the end of each round the target rolls a save test if they are still affected.
