Transferring ownership of character sheets

I would like to create character sheets for pregenerated characters in my game and then allow players to take control of the sheets so that they can edit them, etc.

Is this possible?

Apologies if this is an easy one, I'm new to this site and couldn't find anything in the forums.

Custom charsheet can be simply cut and pasted, see BBC code on how to create one or the Repository of public ones to use one already created, or published a prefilled version and they create their own copy

As Psybermagi says above, I believe this is the easiest way to do it, but I would go one step further maybe:

Have each players submit a an empty/blank custom sheet to your game. You can then access and edit the sheet, placing whatever code you need in there. I've done this with success on some of my prior games.
