Because you were soldiers of the winning side, I am allowing a +1 enchantment to be added to any piece of armour or weapon that you want, or you can choose one uncommon item to have.

Heya! Thanks for the invite. It's late here so I'm heading to bed in a minute. I did have a question on firearms before I go though. Are they at the modern level? Can an Artificer start with one? (They are proficient). I imagined my character having a handgun. Seems more Blade-Runner-y than some melee weapon or a crossbow.

I assume that firearms are available according to the Gunslinger subclass

Those are Renaissance firearms. Modern and future firearms are in the DMG. The future ones are overpowered though.

Renaissance to modern firearms will be allowed.

How much for a revolver?
Do we sell starging gear at full price? If so I will have sold a lot of my starting weapons and armor to buy a Brestplate
Soldier background has been customised so Intimidation has been replaced with Persuasion as it fits his knightly aspiration better.

@Khulod the All-Purpose Tool gives the ability to know any cantrip one pr longrest. There is so much room for creativity there and I can't pass up the opportunity

Alright, for the premise of the story I had this idea: we just returned from Europe and have been released from duty. Misha had to go through medical to deal with the PTSD and there she met RU647 who was receiving socialization classes so he might integrate into society. She agreed to help him get settled since they were both released at the same time. They flew home and now are at the airport at the intro scene. Misha's huge Tabaxi family has arranged for a tiny Blade Runner-esque apartment (on her own dime of course) and she plans to go there and check up on her old garage unit where she tinkered before she got deployed. She also has a meeting set up with a skytaxi company where some of her siblings already work for a job. Does that sound good?
