With the game slowly grinding down, would you like to discuss pivoting to something else? Maybe something more challenging like Abomination Vaults, or still easygoing but more RP focused like the Troubles in Otari?

If so, would you then like to try another platform for the game? Discord or another chat platform (I could set one up just for this), or even Foundry...

I'm down for trying whichever AP people are interested in. Discord might be a bit quicker in posting, not familiar with other chat platforms but up for trying. If Discord, does it have a dice bot for PF2 available?

When you say Foundry, do mean setting up a non PbP game? I'd be down for that too, but it all depends on the day/time as far as availability.

Discord would at least have a dice rolling bot, probably not a full character manager but I'm willing to try whatever.

With Foundry, I'd still do PbP, just use it for maps, AP content and general game management. Could try live text or voice at some point if the stars align, I suppose. =)

For me, I made the character without really any knowledge of the system so he’s not as effective as I’d like, lol. I would probably make some different choices knowing what I know now (though still not a lot).

I’m also interested in some more RP instead of just dungeon crawling, I think. Or maybe it’s just the nature of low-level gameplay, there’s not much you can do in combat, basically just shoot and end turn, so it feels slow in practice.

I hear ya about effectiveness. It seems to me that pf2 has a decent balance between flexibility and viability, but I still feel like you can shoot yourself in the foot.

Looks like there's a brand new intro adventure that's even compatible with the upcoming remaster changes, so I think I'll start prepping for that and when I'm ready I'll post a discord invite link here. =)

@ctme2000,@Manhattan - I've been making preparations, and I could actually run a full pbp game on Foundry with some chat enhancement modules, but it's far from mobile friendly. Is a mobile interface a must for either of you?

A mobile interface would certainly make it easier vs being in front of a computer, but it's not necessary. I did try Foundry via mobile and tablet about two years ago, for a PbP game, and it was pretty bad. Not sure if much has changed since then.

Yea, I tried a few more tricks, but on mobile it's really terrible. If you're down to try it anyway, I'll find some people.

Character creation can be done within Foundry or with Pathbuilder.

The adventure is Rusthenge! Levels 1-3.

These backgrounds are highly recommended, otherwise you'll need an excuse to travel to a small, quiet island in the Ironbound archipelago.

nah, whatever you want - your character's name is separate.

Hey all, did this game start? I've been busy with work and Christmas traveling out of state. Should be back in action next week.

I created an orc fighter (osprey Warrior background) in pathbuilder. Do I need to transfer the character into foundry vtt, as well as gamersplane?
