Synopsis:

The Saints Of The Empty Throne are an armigerous order, (both bearing weapons and having personal crests), in the service of the empty throne of the Great Republic.

They swear a great many oaths to the throne, relating to justice and generosity and good order, and take these oaths extremely seriously. They do not swear an oath to law, though they study it, and they are not police, though they are often sent or called to deal with matters of peace and justice. They are, every one of them, executioners; the performance of an execution is the final step in becoming one of the Saints.

First and greatest of all their oaths is this: The empty throne will remain empty.

Saints Of The Empty Throne is a fantasy Tabletop Roleplaying game. The setting is a post-revolutionary "Great Republic" in the early black powder era, and the genre mixes up swashbuckling action and wandering hero tropes in a number of interesting ways.

I shall inquire of the GM the posting frequency and length of this endeavor to gain knowledge and understanding of my quest.

Posting frequency: at least 3 times a week, at most once daily.

Duration: at least one adventure, downtime, and another adventure.

First adventure: it is rumored that a pretender is gathering resources and minions to stage a coup d'etat and establish herself on the Empty Throne. Investigate, and thwart!

I'm interested, but I can't commit to a game until later next week.

Saint of Serpents has a nice ring to it. If you are prepared to deal with a more esoteric minded saint.

i'm going to set up a game for this. It seems like you're the only player for now, so I'll tailor the game to your character to start.

This looks interesting. I will need a day or so to read the rules and build my character.
