I'm also up for this - hadn't realised you were thinking of doing it with digital gifts (I was keeping away because yeah shipping and taxes...) - I also feel like I'd be totally down with someone gifting me a link to a free game if it's one they thought I might particularly enjoy (thinking of accessibility, people's access to funds as a possible barrier to them participating) but would understand if people would rather not have that as an option.
