Memories wiped, Gear taken, And unending darkness. Your teammate dynamics will be tested as you try to survive a unending and shifting dungeon while searching for scarce gear that will possibly save your life or hinder your progression.
This campaign is gonna be more akin to a roguelike, The dungeon itself is vast and will contain many twists and turns for you to get lost in. Below im going to offer some info on the campaign you might wish to know.
Resting: Since this is a dangerous area where things shift around you can't just sleep or rest anywhere, So i found some inspiration from classic survival horror games. At points during your dungeon crawling you'll come across safe rooms where you can rest, heal, and collect yourselves, Who knows you might even meet some individuals who can help you out, These rooms won't be too common however so they should be made of use while you can.
Branching paths: This is not a one way exploration and will feature many different paths to take, However to make the choices on these paths more impactful and to make sure everything moves forward the dungeon will close off pathways you have come from so the only path to choose will be forward once you have made your choice, Choose wisely.
Supplies: You'll be able to find and loot plenty of objects along your journey, Since there aren't easily accessible shops i'll be making it so by using your skills you can search for and find the basic items needed to not get mauled by the first enemy to gain sight on you, At safe rooms you'll also have a chest that you can deposit a limited number of items into to save for later.
Enemies: You'll also be fighting some classic staple enemies and also some brand new ones i've cooked up in my mind so you'll have something new to learn and combat.
Story: I was gonna have a thread on this but giving it some thought it'd be more fun for you to explore and find it out for yourselves while surviving.
Death: A unfortunate reality that will at some point be realized. This campaign will not feature traditional ways of reviving your party (Except for spells) and as such death will be final. HOWEVER you will be offered a chance at salvation and every PC has one free revive should the party get the deceased body to a safe room (If the spirit is willing). After that everything is final.
