[Teased & Closed] Eat the Reich

In the spirit of December, I figured I'd write up this recruitment advent calendar style! For the next couple of days, I'll tease a few details about this game. Feel free to ask questions or make guesses about which system or game I'm running. I won't confirm or deny it immediately. If you guess right you're in (if you want)! You're vampires.



Formed in secret six months ago, F.A.N.G., a loose-knit organisation of vampires, walking corpses, morally grey wizards and one hell of an administrative staff are the Allies’ last chance at victory.

I have no idea what system we're talking about. But I do want to play a Nazi-eating vampire! Or maybe a Nazi-punching zombie.

Whatever it is, it's certainly shaping up to be something interesting and fun. :)

Night's Black Agents?

From Rowan, Rook and Decard, the company who gave us games such as Heart, Spire, Die, comes this TTRPG built about a single scenario: the final vampire mission to retake occupied Paris at the end of the Second World War.

An all-action pulp adventure for players who aren't squeamish when it comes to descriptions of dead fascists.



Grant Howitt says "you need to get together a group [three to six] of sexy and exciting people to play this sexy and exciting game".

The art and graphic design you've seen so far is done by the awesome Will Kirkby.

No, it's OK. If YOU gather three to six sexy people, then you can play. Not sure what the sexy people are for. I'm sure it's in the rules.

Bait for the trap?

The rules happily and rightly assume that us gamers are sexy exciting people! It uses the rules light Havoc Engine system, you roll a dice pool based on the relevant stat, the successes go towards fulfilling objectives, defending against threats (the GM's dice pool successes), feeding on Nazi blood or activating specials. That's it!



At the heart of it is the Wushu system, one of the more successfully cinematic TTRPGs for over-the-top action. No surprise that this game takes inspiration from Inglourious Basterds, (the other) Suicide Squad, and the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Setting up the game page in a day or two, so recruitment is open!

Oo. Wushu. I messed around with that system years ago. Took some getting used to, but it's concept of "narrative truth" was intriguing.
