CHARACTER ADVANCEMENT
If you play multiple sessions of Far Traders, your characters will become more powerful and effective.
At the end of each numbered chapter (1, 2, 3, 4, etc), the GM will answer the following 3 questions for the crew. For each question answered with a "yes," every PC gets 1 XP.
1 - Did we earn a profit, either through trading, scavenging, looting or jobs?
2 - Did we discover something new and interesting about the universe?
3 - Did we overcome a difficult challenge or dangerous adversary?
Please note that a single chapter can be broken into multiple threads. We will use letters to make it easier to keep track of those threads (ex: Chapter 4A, 4B, 4C are all part of the Chapter 4). Unlike previous versions of the game rules, we won't have separate XP for each thread.
