what is the difference between all of those?

I like the idea of playing a witch

The character descriptions read race (or nationality for obviously not fantasy races) followed by a role description. The roles are pretty representative of what the character can do, the only clarification required might be to point out that blessed ones are similar to priests. If you need a description of the gods they can be found here...

I'll be sending out some txt formated version of the example characters, but it will be really hard for me to continue without doing what I was reluctant to do... Distribute the rule book. I've made a google drive with the core rules in it here. Please don't redistribute this...

I see what you mean. The rules are quite complex.

I felt the base mechanics were easy enough to make each on the fly but some things sits and abilities are a lot more involved.

Certainly got a bit more complex in the last 23 years. From what I remember it flows quite naturally once you get going though. The translation is a bit off-putting. Sagacity?! Just intelligence in the German version.

I've read most of it now. Deffo enough to start drinking ale and splitting some black-pelts!
