Before the Crash, Liam Shaskey was a Financial brocker for upstart tech firms. Early in his career this involved turning up and sealing deals with investers, though he also quickly jumped into croudfunding and got employed as campaign managers from his home in Marion.

After the crash, Liam and his wife Melissa, their then young daughter Hailey, who is now on the cusp of adulthood, and the family cat, a siamese call Richard Feynman.

Liam quickly adopted the handle of Loan Shark, and managed to wheel and deal his way into New Graceland. He tried his hand at doing what he did before, negotiating on behalf of takers but the cuts were terrible. Now he's joining a group of takers, hoping to get the hell out of Memphis and into the Recession.

Looks good, the only thing I would question is the cat as a dependent. As long as you recognize that from a cost perspective that cat should be on par with the others, we're good. The vignettes could be a little awkward, but there's opportunities for good role play there.

Hey, cats are expensive ;)

How often does spending time with a cat just repair you as a human being... Every time (unless your not a cat person)

After every job characters are given an opportunity to role play a vignette which is a small role play scene with one of your dependents. For each one you reduce one tier of threat. So if you had Stress 2, detachment 3, trauma 2. If you only had one dependent, after the vignette, your threats would go down to 2 each. If you had 2 dependents, it goes down to 1 each, with three they would all be healed.

As with everything in this game, each benefit is offset by cost. More dependents, more heal, more cost

I'm counting 21 skills. Should be 20. Other than that it looks good. I'm going to be updating a couple things as we go. For instance because of your STR and ADP. Your Haul and Refresh are 1 each. Also I'm going to fill out some of your equipment and bookkeeping stuff. Let me know if you have any questions.

Just checking here.. In your gear you have SoftGlass. Is that the same as Ubiq Specs?

Yeah, sorry I renamed things for flavour. I took an UbiqvSpec, a laptop and a club (which I plan to swap out asap for something ranged, it's really only there as a last resort).

I figured as much, since it had the same stats. Doesn't matter to me, just wanted to make sure I was on the same page
