Before the Crash, Ron Matthews was the proprietor of Matthews Motors & Pawn. He was famous for his terrible TV ads in which he did Elvis impersonations. He refused to leave behind his inventory when the evacuation happened. Instead, he organized his staff, preferred customers and their families behind the fences of his property. He was already well established as the Carrion Economy galvanized and he was perfectly poised to take advantage. With his success the enclave of New Graceland grew. Don't let his outlandish outfits fool you. He's as shrewd a client as there is in the Loss and he gets a cut of just about everything that happens in New Graceland.
