Brandon "Heron" Greer

Brandon grew up a military brat in the CAS. His family moved around whenever his mother's posting changed, but he always felt most at home on the coast. He grew up speaking English and picked up Spanish very early. After graduating from high school he immediately enlisted and showed a talent for mechanics and driving. Signing up for the Rigger Corps, he ended up being posted to Texas border where he dealt with smugglers and coyotes, usually with light artillery. His inability to play any kind of politics limited his ability to rise in the ranks. After a skirmish with Aztlaner forces in Austin wiped out most of his drones, and the platoon he was supporting, he decided that it wasn't worth it and refused the option to sign up for a second tour.

Wandering for a couple of years, Brandon ended up in Seattle, existing on the margins of society. After working on enough runner vans, drones, and other equipment, he took the name Heron and dipped into the shadows himself.

Heron's human, with skin nearly as dark as ebony and eyes that glow steel grey most of the time, though when he wants to hide his cybereyes, he has a set of brown eyes loaded. At 175cm (5'9" he would insist) he is fairly short and thin, but is quick and light on his feet. His control rig is over his left eye and obvious on his bald head. He wears common street clothes, and generally dresses as a lower class blue collar worker would. He rarely travels anywhere without at least two drones nearby, often his Fly-Spies, and seems distracted by the massive amount of data he has flowing into his brain at all times.

Contacts

Aaron Vickers (Human Street Doc)
Heron and Vickers met up after a team mate caught a bullet. They're not on especially friendly terms, Vickers has shown some support for the ideas, if not the methods, of New Revolution, and Heron believes they should just let the USA stay in the history books.

Tollis (Troll Armorer)
Heron doesn't ask how she gets her stuff, but it's clean and good quality. They've done a fair amount of business, but that's all they can expect. She knows her drek, and frankly, that's all Heron wants.
