Automatic signature in games?

Often, it's useful to keep folks reminded about specific info: terrain type, conditions in effect, etc. Is there a way to automate this as a signature (for a GM, especially, but I can see how this would be helpful for a PC, as well).

Or is the only solution to copy and paste the relevant info from post to post?

If you have a character sheet submitted to the game, you can add a Snippet to it. The code is

[snippet="NAME"]
CONTENT
[/snippet]

All snippets will appear as a dropdown on that sheet when you open it at the bottom of the thread and by selecting one of them from the dropdown, you will automatically paste that one into your post.



It's not quite automatic, but a bit simpler than manually copypasting every time.
