I am running a PbP for some friends who are not as familiar with this website, and I was wondering if there is any way I can make a character and then set them up so someone else runs it and it is considered there character. I am the DM for the game and I made the game.

If it's a custom character sheet, then you can copy the text for the sheet into a post surrounded by the charsheet tag.

[charsheet="Character Name"]
Text ...
[/charsheet]

Then they just need to open the spoiler and click on "Create Character."

E.g. a copy of one of my old characters:

If it's not a custom sheet, then I don't think there's a way to pass a character to another user.

If they make the sheet, and tgen submit into the game I believe yiu as DM can then also edit it.

Once had a dm do this for a game with pregens where we made the sheets and then he went in and put in the details.

Or have them create an account with a "default" password, you log in to their account, make the character for them, log out, they change their password.

If you don't need players to edit the sheet, you can also use player handouts.
