Any way i can use some luck, or push the roll for the skill check or something? Playing all this time and getting boned out of every single advancement blows.

Pushing rolls leads to dislocated shoulders and your buddy almost ripping your arm off when he tries to put it back into place...;)

Officially not. The system rewards more when you successfully use skills you're not already good at and less so for ones you are.

The reward comes mostly from being still alive and (relatively) sane at the end and less about skills.

I will allow a push but failure will result in losing from the skill. :)

The only one i am worried about is first aid. So I will attempt to push on that one. The others are fine where they sit.

If i had these rolls in game i am pretty sure i could kill cthulhu but we all know my next in game roll will be in the 90's.
