Sticky threads, not so sticky

I have a few threads that I want to sticky, but I'd come back to the game forum and find them sliding down the thread list after new posts.

Near as I can tell, the thread will stay sticky if it is just viewed but stops being sticky if it is modified (either new post, or an old post edited). Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? I went back a few pages and hadn't seen anyone else mention it....

Oh, randomly, it doesn't seem to do that from my iPad. Just from my Amdroid phone.

There's no code that should behave differently on an iPad vs Android. There may be a bug in editing a post which I'll look into; it may also be a cache issue on your phone.

The iPad thing may have been a coincidence. I edited a sticky thread on a PC today and again, viewing it didn't change anything, but editing a post showed the sticky box unmarked on the editing page. And obviously, saving without remarking the box left the post not sticky until I hit the little pin icon. It does work find for me to recheck the box. Maybe the editing page just always defaults to not sticky?

It shouldn't. I'll look into that.
