PATHWAYS
The pathways will be used to create elements of the story. Please use the Miro board, that is convenient for the exercise.
We will do this stage by stage, so i will be able to help if its too complicated.

Those are the PCs
CONNECTIONS (LINES)
- Each connection will end up with at least a description written along the length of the line.
- For connection with people (squares and circles) the lines are bi-directional. It represents their relationship or how they feel about each other.
- For connection with secondary character you fill the description as you see fit (Example: Charles is in love with Sarah, but Sarah hate his guts)
- For connection with other PC it's a collaborative efforts, decide the description with the other PC in the last stage (Naat's PC might think Tao's PC is cool, but Tao's PC might be in love with Naat's PC)
Examples: Business rivalry, has a crush on, uses for transportation, has terrible nightmares about
SECONDARY CHARACTERS (CIRCLES)
Secondary characters are the people and other actors that take part in the story. These will become important NPCs and can range from valued friends to desperate enemies.
SITUATIONS (TRIANGLES)
A situation is an event or potential event that’s important to the character(s) in some way, whether it’s a past event that shapes them, something currently ongoing, or a possible future problem.
RESOURCE (DIAMONDS)
A resource is something in the world connected to the character that will be helpful during the campaign
We are not using the resource as a mechanic (rules), but those are roleplay components in the story we are going to create.
Examples (people that can help): Alchemist, Doctor, Gadget Guy, Scholar, Scientist, Security Team, Servant, Soldiers
Examples (organizations): Army, Corporation, Government Agency, Religion, Research Facility, Secret Society, Thieves Guild
Examples (location): Bar, Bowling Alley, Café, Mansion, Military Base, Newspaper Office, Restaurant, School, Store
STAGES
1. Origin
You are all born in Nexus Core Lab
- Rename your character in the assigned square on Miro, add a number for your adult age when the game begins
- Your square have a distinct color, everything you create on miro will have this color going forward
- Don't add description yet on the PCs connections in Miro. You will decide the description at the end when you know better the other characters
SHEET
- Choose your most powerful power for your power set, it will have d8.
- Choose your highest value, it will be d10
2. Youth (5+ years old)
It's the period where you met with the professor in Nexus and started to learn about the outside world. This period was the hardest of your imprisonment
- Create a first secondary character (circle) and add a connection and description. You meet that NPC in Nexus and it survived the escape.
This can be an orphan that escaped with you and make it to the orphan, was part of Nexus staff as an enemy you will see again later (e,g wicked nurse, or prison guard, evil fake parent) or was an ally of The Professor such as the commando buddies

3. Focus (10+ years old)
It's after your character escaped Nexus. From there you spent years at the orphanage.
- Create one resource (diamond) and a connection to it with description.
- Create a situation (triangle) that influenced how you grew up to become an adult (e.g a beating in the park, was arrested, someone help you)
- Create a second secondary character (circle) and add a connection and description

- Choose your last power for your power set, it will have d6.
- Choose your second most important value, it will be d8
- Create a second distinction
4. Road (18+ years old)
It's starting when you became an adult and lived on your own or with roommates (PCs, NPCs, up to you).
- Add a description on the connection between your character and other PCs, its a collaborative efforts between you
- Reuse another existing character NPC (circle) and add a connection to it with your PC. Add a description
- Create a new character (circle) and add a connection and description OR reuse another existing character NPC
- Create two new resources (diamond) and a connection to it with description. One of them has to be a location. You should have three total by now
- Create a second situation (triangle) that somehow was life changing for your character (e.g hit by a car, you saved someone from grave injury)
SHEET
- Choose your weakness value, it will be d4
- Create a third distinction
IMPORTANT: WE DO THIS STEP BY STEP together so that you can see what the other PC created. Collaboration is encouraged.
- Proceed with the character sheet and remaining stats missings, instructions are in the next message
