Hello and welcome. You read the pitch. Now is the time to bombard me with questions and ideas.
I have an adventure, that will send you north to the edge of the civilised lands. While you can be any profession, you are still investigators for the institute, and this is what you do. When something goes bump in the night, you investigate.

I'll be out most of today so I'll go ahead and submit my almost complete character sheet. I just random rolled a human hunter who has ventured, maybe not far North to the area we're going, but at least spent a fair amount of time in the wild areas in between. If the Institute needs more of a field person he would be it! I tried to reflect that with his skills.

Where do we roll our attributes? Do I only have one weakness and do I describe it freely? Do you mind if I just pick pregen Krisana the Blood from Quickstart guide, if a Thief profession is OK for Nordström Institute.

One more question. In the video it is described that attribute rolling is not done as we are used to do it in 5e: roll 4d6H3 6 times and then assign. Is say:
1. Roll 4d6H3 ONCE. Decide an attribute before rolling next 4d6H3.
2. Roll 4d6H3 one more tome. Decide an attribute one more attribute.
...
is that correct understanding?

In 5e you roll your attributes and the distribute them
in Dragonbane you roll your attributes and place them in the same order as you roll them. First roll going into Strength, second goes into Constitution, ect.

Oh I see when she say "assign to an attribute" she should have said "assign to the attribute" instead.
In this case it feels strange I need to chose kin and profession before I roll, as I can end up with a thief having agility as low as 6 and that would make him totally useless in a combat. Well, perhaps I don't like that system that much any more

Actually she is correct in the video in that you roll 1 and assign it then roll another and assign it as per page 24 of the rulebook and in the end swap 2 scores.

I know Runekyndig is from Denmark and his rules maybe slightly different as he list an attribute as wisdom on the character sheet but our edition lists it as willpower.

Anyway - I know we are only allowed 1 elf and if noone else want to make 1 I will and if it is ok just use the pregen from the rules.

I have overextended myself and I am going to end this game before its stars. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that might cause us and I beg your forgiveness. I have also been on GP daily for over 5 years, and I am considering taking a longer break, once I have ended all my games.
