You should see a tab at the top of the screen with "characters" written on it. You'll need to click there to make any characters.

Okay, so because I had a bit of extra time, I turned an AI lose on the synposis for the game, and it wrote an intro song.

Just that we're faced with a threat and an innocent, so decisions on how to approach the situation. Nothing major beyond that though. :)

Well. If I need a straight 5 and I do not have it, I won't use the Crystal Raiment, so I go to attack.

You have that option, you can also "gather your spirit" to modify your 6 down to a 5 as your action for this turn. It's up to you.
If you do go for an attack you'll need to roll 2D6+Accuracy.
